Thermodynamics

The program developed in this study will be put at the service of every researcher, and the system of the program can be used on any Windows Software compatible computer. While preparing the program, an easytounderstand and flexible MATLAB environment was used. The thermal analysis data of synthesized N’(4chlorobenzoyl)N,Ndinbutylthiourea (HL) and its Ni(II) complex have been digitalized by measuring with thermal analyses such as DTA, TG with hardware technical equipment.

In this study, the performance of chitosan based semiIPN nanocomposite hydrogels for the adsorptive removal of basic violet 14 (BV14) from aqueous solution has been explored. Batch adsorption studies were conducted to determine the effect of various parameters on BV14 adsorption, and optimum values were reported as pH of 8, the adsorbent dosage of 0.025 g, initial BV14 concentration of 5 mg L–1 and contact time of 90 min at a temperature of 25 °C.

Paper "Investigating the structure and thermodynamic properties of silicene materials when cooling fast by molecular dynamics simulation" presents the results of twodimensional silicene cooling studies by MD simulation with a sample of 6400 atoms. The Silicene model was run on Lammps software with a StillingerWeber interaction potential. Silicene after melting to 3500K, it is cooled at a rate of 1013 K/s to a temperature of 300K. Investigation of the dependence of energy on temperature shows a jump in the average total energy of molten silicene at the temperature T = 1965K.

The moment method in the statistical dynamics is used to study the thermodynamic properties of metals taking into account the anharmonicity effects of the lattice vibrations. The effective pair potentials work well for the calculations of metals. For obtaining better agreement of the thermodynamic quantities of metals like Nb, the many body potentials derived from the microscopic electronic theory are used. The theoretical calculations of the thermodynamic properties are in good agreement with the corresponding experimental results.
