To set up a Fast Etherchannel we must configure each of the ports exactly the same. They must be in the same VLAN, the same spanning tree parameters, the same duplex method, the same speed, and so forth. There is also one other requirement that is difficult to obtain from documentation, ALL PORTS IN THE CHANNEL CANNOT BE TRUNKS.
