Influence of machining error of workpiece positioning surfaces on tooth pitch errors of gleason spiral bevel gears
In this paper, the 3D models of Gleason spiral bevel gears was created according to the machining principle in Autodesk Inventor software and they were used to simulate the influence of positioning errors on the indicators for evaluating tooth pitch errors, including the maximum single pitch deviation, the maximum difference between adjacent pitches, and the total cumulative pitch deviation.
