A correction to Pro-atrial natriuretic peptide is a prognostic marker in sepsis, similar to the APACHE II score: an observational study by Nils G Morgenthaler, Joachim Struck, Mirjam Christ-Crain, Andreas Bergmann and Beat Müller.
The research article by Dr Morgenthaler and colleagues [1] has an error in the abstract. Currently the abstract reads:
‘On the day of admission, pro-ANP levels, but not levels of other biomarkers, were significantly higher in surviving than in non-surviving sepsis patients’.
This should read as follows:
‘On the day of admission, pro-ANP levels, but not levels of other biomarkers, were significantly higher in non-surviving than in surviving sepsis patients’.
