Entrance controls how the element comes into view on the slide. Emphasis adds an animation to the element after the object is displayed. Exit controls how the element is removed from the slide.

 Motion Paths allows you to specify a path along which an object will

travel. Sound Actions allows you to control when a sound is played , paused, or stopped.

3. Insert Hyperlinks  Create a Hyperlink to a Slide in the Current Presentation or a Custom Show: To create a hyperlink to a slide the current presentation or to a slide in a custom show.

Select the text, graphic, or other object you want to use as the hyperlink.

 Click Insert menu Hyperlink.

Select Place in This DocumentClick the slide or the custom show you want to link toClick Ok.

3. Insert Hyperlinks  Create a Hyperlink to a Slide in Another Presentation or a Custom Show: To create a hyperlink to a slide in a different presentation.

Select the text, graphic, or other object you want to use as the hyperlink.

 Click Insert menu Hyperlink.

Select Existing File or Web PagePlace in This DocumentClick Current Folder, or Browse Pages or Recent Filethe slide or Web or the custom show you want to link toClick Ok.

3. Insert Hyperlinks  Create a Hyperlink to an E-Mail Address: To create a hyperlink that display an e-mail message window pre-addressed to a particular e-mail address.

Select the text, graphic, or other object you want to use as the hyperlink.

 Click Insert menu Hyperlink.

Select E-mail Address Type an E-mail address Click Ok.

3. Insert Hyperlinks  Create a Hyperlink to a Data File or Web Page: To create a

hyperlink to a data file.

Select the text, graphic, or other object you want to use as the hyperlink.

 Click Insert menu Hyperlink.

Select Existing File or Web Page Click File or Web page Click Ok.

3. Insert Hyperlinks  Create a Hyperlink to a New Document: To create a hyperlink

to a file at the same time.

Select the text, graphic, or other object you want to use as the hyperlink.

 Click Insert menu Hyperlink.

Select Create New Document Click File Click Ok.

4. Add Action Buttons  Click Slide Show menu Select Action Buttons Click type of

button you want to add.

 Clide and Drag on the slide to draw the button in the size and

position you want it to appear.

 Select hyperlink or Run Program  Click a link or a Program

that you want.

6. Deliver On-Screen Presentations  Use a Secondary Monitor:  After connecting the second monitor, open the Control Panel  Double click the Display iconClick the Setting tabSelect a monitor and designate it as the main monitorby clicking use this device as the primary monitor.

 Click the icon for the secondary monitor and click Extend my Windows

desktop onto this computerClick Ok.

 In Powerpoint, rerun the setup for the presentation by clicking Slide Show on

the menu bar and clicking Set Up Show.

 Click the arrow on the Display slide show list, and select the monitor you want

presentation displayed on.

 Click the Show Presenter View option and click Ok.

7. Deliver Online Presentations Preview a Presentation:  Click File menuClick Web Page Preview Publish after Previewing  Click File menuClick Save as Web PageSelect Folder  Click the arrow on the Save as type list and click the type of file you want to

create Web page or Web archive.

 If you choose to save the presentation as a Web page, PowerPoint saves the presentation in HTML format and creates a folder to hold the files required to create the pages.

 If you want more control over the Web presentationClick the Publish button to open the Publish as Web Page dialogSelect the slides you want to publishClick the Display speaker notes option if you want to make your notes visible to the use.

7. Deliver Online Presentations Broadcast a Presentation:  If you want to include live video or sound, connect a video

camera and/or microphone to your computer and test them.

 Click Slide ShowClick Online BroadcastClick Start Live

Broadcast Now.
