The master's thesis of Science: Cross-sectional survey: levels of engagement among surgical patients aimed to 1) understand how engagement is measured in surgical patients; 2) identify levels of engagement among surgical patients; and 3) determine whether patients’ levels of engagement are associated with decision making and information processing capabilities.
