doesn’t. 1.2. Cách dùng: + Thì hiện tại đơn được dùng để diễn tả thói quen ở hiện tại , thường đi với các trạng từ always, usually, often, generally, every day, sometimes, seldom, rarely, never.... - I get up at 5.30 every morning

+ Thì hiện tại đơn ( Simple present tense) được dùng để chỉ các hiện tượng thiên nhiên , các quy luật vật lí. + Thì hiện tại đơn được dùng để diễn tả một hành động trong tương lai xảy ra theo lộ trình hoặc thời gian biểu. 1.3. Từ nhận biết: often, always, usually, sometimes, never, every, once a week, twice a week,... 2. Verbs of liking and disliking: Common verbs of liking and disliking are: Like, love, enjoy, and hate (not like) . We often use the -ing form after these verbs.
- She hates watching TV.
Example: - I like gardening. ( Các động từ thích và không thích thường gặp là:Like, love, enjoy, and hate (not like)Chúng ta thường sử dụng dạng-ingsau những động từ này.)
● Unit 2: Healthy Living
Simple sentences (Câu đơn) – Some simple sentences have a subject and a verb. (Một số câu đơn giản có chủ ngữ và động từ (S_V).) Example: I read. – Some simple sentences also have an object. (Một số câu đơn giản cũng có Tân ngữ (O)) Example: I read science books. – Some simple sentences also have an adverb. (Một số câu đơn giản cũng có trạng ngữ(Adv)) Example: I read science books every weekend.

The simple past tense ( Thì quá khứ đơn)
I. Form ( Cách chia): 1. Affirmative statement ( Thể khẳng định) :
Example: a) I watched television last night. b) We went to the cinema last week. * Cách cấu tạo past form ( hình thức quá khứ ) của đông từ a. Đối với động từ có quy tắc ( Regular verbs) : Ta thêm đuôi + ed vào sau các động từ: V+ed To finish => finished To work => worked
b. Đối với đông từ bất quy tắc ( Irregular verbs): Liệt kê cột 2 của bảng động từ bất quy tắc + go => went ; to come => came. to write => wrote ; send => sent . 2. Negative statement ( Thể phủ định)
Example: I didn’t watch TV last night They didn’t read the book yesterday. 3. Interrogative statement ( Thể nghi vấn )
To play => played ; stay => stayed ....
Example: a)Did you go to the movies last Sunday? Yes, I/ we did/ No, I/ we didn’t. b)Did your sister go to work yesterday morning? Yes, she did/ No, she didn’t. c) What did you do yesterday? I stayed at home and watched TV. II. Usage ( Cách dùng) 1. Thì quá khứ đơn diễn tả một hành động , một sự kiện hoặc một tình huống đã xảy ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ. - I watched TV last night. - She bought the book last Saturday. 2. Thì quá khứ đơn thường được dùng với các cụm từ chỉ thời gian xác định trong quá khứ : Last week/month/ year… hoặc a week/ two months/ 3 years… ago. She went to London last summer. He started learning English 5 years ago. 3. Thì quá khứ đơn chỉ 1 loạt hành động xảy ra liên tiếp. Thường kể lại những sự việc đã diễn ra. Last night, he came home at 8 p.m, opened the door , came into his room and turned on all the lights. a) Cách thành lập thì quá khứ đối với các động từ có quy tắc: + Ta thêm đuôi + ed vào hầu hết các động từ : V+ ed To help => helped ; To clean => cleaned + Những động từ có tận cùng là “e”, ta chỉ thêm “d ” vào sau động từ đó: To live => lived / To like => liked + Những động từ có tận cùng là “y” trước nó là 1 phụ âm , ta đổi “y” thành “i” và thêm “ed” To carry => carried / To fry => fried To worry => worried / To cry => cried + Nếu động từ có tận cùng là “y” trước nó là 1 nguyên âm , ta thêm “ed”vào sau động từ đó mà không đổi “y” thành “i” . + Đối với động từ đọc lên có 1 âm tiết , kết thúc là một phụ âm, trước đó là 1 nguyên âm,ta gấp đôi phụ âm cuối rồi thêm “ed” . To rub => rubbed / To rob =>robbed Chú ý : Không gấp đôi phụ âm cuối đối với những phụ âm w/ x / y. To mix => mixed / To play => played / To bow => bowed * Cách phát âm đuôi “ed” + Đuôi “ed” được đọc là /t / nếu đông từ kết thúc là p / k/ f/ s/ ch/ sh. + Đuôi “ed” được đọc là /d / nếu đông từ kết thúc là b / g / v /m /n / l / r... và các nguyên âm. + Đuôi “ed” được đọc là /id / nếu đông từ kết thúc là t và d. B. Thì quá khứ của động từ “ to be ”. (+) Positive S: I/ she/ he / It => Was (?) Interrogative Was I/ she/ he / It ?

Each country has many good people who take care of others. For example, some of students in the United States often spend many hours as volunteers in hospitals, orphanages or homes for the elderly.
