This work aims to investigate the mechanism of Pd nucleation and growth onto glassy carbon electrode from ChCl/urea/palladium mixture at room temperature using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry (CA) techniques. Furthermore, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were used to examine the crystalline structure, morphology and compositions of deposited Pd samples.

In recent times many research activities have been carried out to prove the metal ion detection ability of Schiff bases. [13,14] In the present study, a new Schiff base has been synthesized from 5-bromo-2- hydroxybenzaldehyde and naphthalene-1,8-diamine and it is complexated with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) ions. The biological application of all the compounds has been analyzed and metal ions recognition property of the Schiff base has also been studied.

The present study focuses on the preparation of silver/copper bimetallic hybrid nanoparticles by green method from precursor solutions of silver nitrate & copper nitrate and the locally available citrus fruit (lemon) peel extract which behaves as the stabilizing and reducing agent. Initially, the formation of hybrid nanoparticles was noticed in the reaction mixture by colour change.

Bài viết "Nghiên cứu thiết kế thiết bị đo glucose cầm tay trên cơ sở kỹ thuật điện hóa" tập trung vào việc phát triển một thiết bị cầm tay để đo lường glucose sử dụng kỹ thuật điện hóa. Thiết bị này sử dụng hai kỹ thuật chính là kỹ thuật dòng - thời gian (chronoamperometry - CA) và kỹ thuật thế - vòng, còn gọi là thế - tuần hoàn (cyclic voltammetry - CV). Kỹ thuật CA được áp dụng để đo dòng điện tạo ra từ phản ứng điện hóa giữa glucose và enzyme glucose oxidase trên cảm biến.

In this report, we develop a low-cost cyclic voltammetry platform for electrochemical analyses based on the LMP91000 integrated circuit (IC). The proposed system can be suitable to detect chemicals of interest in food safety or biology. The system includes three main blocks: the electrodes, electrochemical measuring circuit, and data acquisition. An algorithm was also built to process and display the data on the screen.

Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, phenol có thể bị oxi hóa điện hóa trên điện cực anot Ti/Sb2O3-SnO2/PbO2 ở điều kiện nhiệt độ 30oC, môi trường điện phân pH = 8 và tốc độ quét 50 mV/s.

The NiO thin films were prepared by the electron beam evaporation method using synthesized sintered targets. As-prepared films were characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, UVeVIS spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The thicker films were found to exhibit a well-defined structure and a well-developed crystallite size with greater transmittance modulation and durability.

This work describes the electrochemical investigation of a promising antiviral agent, favipiravir (FAV) utilizing a nonmodified glassy carbon (GC) electrode, along with a unique voltammetric approach that can determine FAV with a good degree of accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness. Using cyclic voltammetry, the compound demonstrated a single well-defined and an irreversible oxidation peak at approximately +1.12 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in Britton–Robinson (BR) buffer at pH 10.0.

A model of an ECE mechanism consisting of two reversible electrode reactions coupled by the kinetically controlled, second order, reversible chemical reaction is developed for the staircase cyclic voltammetry on the rotating disk electrode. The relationship between the limiting current of the second wave and the rate constant of chemical reaction is investigated. The concentration of electroinactive component of the forward reaction influences the half-wave potential of the first wave and the limiting current of the second wave.

In this work, the kinetic electrochemical degradation of Cartap (CT) (in Padan 95 SP) at boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrode was investigated. This study indicated that the degradation of CT underwent both direct and indirect oxidations. Water matrices can either accelerate or inhibit the removal efficiency of CT: adding 15 mM Cl- improved kCT from 0.039 min–1 to 0.054 min–1 (increased by 38%), while kCT decreased by 61.5% and 64% when increasing the concentration of HCO3 - and humic acid (HA) to 15 mM and 15 mg L–1, respectively.

A glassy carbon electrode, modified with gold nanoparticles/over-oxidized poly-eriochrome black T film, was fabricated for sensitive determination of As(III) by stripping voltammetry in an acidic medium. The electrode surface properties were characterized by cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).

In the paper "Experimental and theoretical studies on the composite composed of graphene oxide and polyaniline", we report theoretical and experimental results on graphene oxide – polyaniline composites. Experimental results in this study were obtained by using different techniques: X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and from cyclic voltammetry.
