Effect of four independent variables
-
The study "Job Performance Dimensions for Improving Final Project Outcomes" aims at examining the effects of job performance on project performance. Four categories task, behavior, management, and self of job performance dimensions were extracted by means of an exploratory factor analysis. A hypothesized model is developed, which specifies the relationships between the four job performance categories independent variables and overall project performance the dependent variable.

The research results show that all four independent variables; namely barriers related to personal traits, cognitive condition, normative and regulative structures had negative effects on entrepreneurial intention. Particularly, cognitive conditions are seen as the most influential barrier to entrepreneurial intention, followed by personal traits, regulative and normative structures.

Seeds of Alpinia blepharocalyx contain high amounts of phenolic and flavonoid compounds with potential antioxidant properties. In this study, the effects of the extraction method on the recovery of phenolic and flavonoid compounds from Alpinia blepharocalyx seeds were investigated. Response surface methodology (RSM) has been used to optimize the extraction conditions of total phenolic and total flavonoid from seeds of Alpinia blepharocalyx.

The present work was carried out to evaluate the removal of Coomassie brilliant blue dye by adsorption onto a magnetized activated carbon nanocomposite (MNSA) prepared from Nigella sativa L. (NS) waste. Different techniques, including infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and nitrogen adsorption/desorption, were used to characterize MNSA to investigate its adsorption properties. Adsorption experiments were carried out by simultaneously optimizing four variables that usually present a strong effect in adsorption studies.

The effects of four independent variables (pepsin enzyme content, acetic-acid concentration, liquid/solid ratio, and temperature) on the extraction yield of collagen from Pangasius hypophthalmus skin were evaluated. The optimal conditions to obtain the highest yield were determinded as follows: a pepsin enzyme content of 0.25%, a acetic-acid concentration of 0.75 M, a liquid/solid ratio of 80, a temperature of 13.9 oC. The predicted yield was 73% which was in agreement with the actual value (P

The results provide evidence of significant causal community effects. We find that a 10-percentage point increase in the average ownership in one’s commu- nity leads to a four-percentage point increase in the likelihood that an indi- vidual will own stocks.
