Gamborg B5 medium

In this study, we investigated four factors to improve the hairy root induction in Urena lobata L. These factors include: age of plant (15-day-old in vitro plants, 45-day-old in vitro plants and after two subculture generations plants), different parts of plant (roots, stems, and leaves), infection time (10, 20 and 30 minutes), and culture medium (Murashige and Skoog (MS), Gamborg B5 medium (GB5) and Woody plant medium (WPM)).

Kết quả chồi trên môi trường có biotin 5 mg/L tăng trưởng tốt hơn so với các nồng độ còn lại. Môi trường khoáng MS tỏ ra thích hợp nhất cho hình thành và kéo dài chồi, tiếp theo là môi trường WPM (woody plant medium) và SH (môi trường Schenk và Hildebrandt), trong khi môi trường B5 (môi trường Gamborg B5) có hiệu quả thấp nhất. Mẫu cấy 3 tuần tuổi có thời gian xuất hiện chồi sớm hơn mẫu cấy ở các độ tuổi khác (4 và 5 tuần tuổi), từ đó ảnh hưởng đến sự kéo dài chồi.
