Moving mass

In this paper, a new four - variable refined plate theory proposed by the authors themselves for dynamic analysis of stiffened functionally graded composite plates reinforced by carbon nanotubes (SFG-CNTRC) subjected to moving mass is researched developed. The geometrical modeling and governing equations of the system are obtained using the finite element method (FEM).

In this paper a semi-analytical approach to efficiently determine the dynamic response of an Euler-Bernoulli beam with general boundary conditions crossed by a mass-spring-damper (MSD) system is presented. Based on a dynamic substructuring technique (DST), the non-classically damped beam subsystem in modal state space representation is coupled with the interacting degrees of freedom of the MSD system by applying a generalized corresponding assumption.

Equine Colic term used to describe abdominal pain in horse. There are several predisposing factors that leads to colic condition in horses such as accumulation gas, intestinal displacement, impacted food mass, parasites etc. A three years’ young mare brought to the TVCC, CVSc & AH, Mhow (M.P.) with the history of lying down on the back, sweating, rolling on the ground, reluctant to move and cessation of urination and defecation. Necrophagous insects are mostly known through forensic entomology. Indeed, experimental data investigating the effect of temperature on larval development underlies post-mortem interval estimations. However, such developmental studies rarely considered the behavior of maggots. The mass moves in the radius direction (up and down) and it induces Coriolis force in the circumference direction to prevent the swing of gondola. If the natural frequency of the absorber is tuned to twice that of the gondola, the absorber moves spontaneously with a large amplitude due the resonance. This absorber is more effective when it is located at lower positions. The experiment with a small model and an actual gondola for 10 passengers were carried out and the results agreed well with the theoretical predictions.
