The W isotopic compositions have been investigated within the classical approach to the sprocess nucleosynthesis. The Maxwellian averaged neutron capture cross-sections (MACS) adopted in the calculation are obtained from the TALYS-1.9 code with four nuclear level density models: the constant temperature plus Fermi gas, the back-shifted Fermi gas, the generalised superfluid, and the microscopic method of Goriely.

In the present work, we calculate the heat capacities of 161−164Dy nuclei using the most recent recommended NLD data in Ref in combination with the BSFG NLD model with energy-dependent parameters. The updated heat capacities will be compared with those reported in 2003 and 2012 in Refs.

During a hypothetical severe accident of a Nordic boiling water reactor (BWR), an ex-vessel particulate debris bed is expected to form in the flooded lower drywell due to melt-coolant interactions after vessel failure. Gas-Cooled Fast reactor (GFR) is one of the favourable Generation IV type concepts under development. ALLEGRO reactor will be a demonstrator reactor of this gas-cooled fast reactor technology. Compared to conventional gas-cooled reactors in the case of a GFR reactor the power density is one order of magnitude higher, and the high temperature fuel assemblies are cooled by a low-density coolant (He), therefore special attention is paid to the heat transfer and heat removal performance of the reactor.

The event-event coincidence spectroscopy system was successfully established and operated on thermal neutron beam of channel N0. 3 at Dalat Nuclear Research Reactor (DNRR) with resolving time value of about 10 ns. The studies on level density, gamma strength function and decay scheme of intermediate-mass and heavy nuclei have been performed on this system. The achieved results are opening a new research of nuclear structure based on (n, 2) reaction.

The OM results show that the former gives better description of the 12C nuclear density distribution than the latter. The equations of state (EOS) of asymmetric nuclear matter (ANM) in an extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio (ENJL) model was investigated by means of examining effective potential in one-loop approximation. Our numerical results show that isospin dependence of saturation density in our model is reasonably strong and critical temperature for liquid-gas phase transition decreases with increasing neutron excess.
