This study aimed to clarify the techniques in reading IELTS test in order to get high score. I was really motivated to choose this topic for two main reasons. The strongest motivation is my belief that reading has an essential role to play in English for Academic Purposes. It is an indispensable language skill for international students who have to read various academic materials for their study at universities.

The Wakhi people are perhaps best known by their proximity to the Wakhan Corridor, which played a major role in eighteenth century politics between Russia and Great Britain. Today the Wakhi live in four countries: Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, and Tajikistan.
