The aim of the research is to explore the effects of Thai culture on the efficacy of Western modelled performance management (PM) in a cross-cultural setting. Thailand is becoming increasingly important to Australian businesses, particularly in view of the ASEAN Economic Community Plan, which is now in its final stages implementation (ASEAN 2015). The primary data for this study was sourced from 43 semistructured and in-depth interviews with 30 participants.

The primary aims of this thesis are: A) to measure the dependence of the DAPR20,10 on the size of the primary small photon field, and to relate this data to TPR20,10 of the reference field. B) to develop a method of using a large-area ionization chamber to compare the measured dosearea product to that calculated by a treatment planning system. Here the focus of this research was on the implementation of a multimodal inference model of MWL that would be developed and experimentally tested. This was done with the purpose of studying the viability of real‐time system adaptation in aerospace systems.

This study, however, focuses more on generally well-received blogs generated by widely accepted beauty writers aged 25-35 (the quality of well-received is defined by the number of followers in each page – averagely 10,000 and above). Additionally, for the collecting data of the study to be conducted thoroughly, entries with the occurrence of code-switch rather than randomly chronological posts are chosen as the primary material for valid and reliable linguistic analysis.

The triangulated data results are surprisingly revealing in many essential aspects of vocabulary instruction, ranging from selecting vocabulary, teaching vocabulary directly and indirectly, explaining vocabulary meanings, teaching vocabulary through skills in various teaching phases in class. Hopefully, the findings of the study have provided an insightful understanding of vocabulary teaching practices in the primary school settings in Vietnam. From these empirical findings, relevant implications are suggested for better vocabulary instruction to young learners in Vietnam.
