Assuring occupational safety, hygiene is one of the essential factors to protect labor - the essential element assuring productivity, quality, production efficiency in a company. In particular, during the international economic integration, the loss of occupational safety and health has been causing tremendous losses to businesses, for the manufacturing and service industries. In order to improve the quality and efficiency of occupational safety and health work, it is necessary to orient the legal system that regulates the occupational safety and health of enterprises.

The present paper empirically tested the relation of TQM practices on operational performance in both service and manufacturing industries. Hence the study used 300 participants from 50 service and manufacturing industries in India.
