The purpose of the article is to consider supply chain strategy for the scientific and technological development of Russian regions. The examples of Germany, Great Britain, the USA, and China are analyzed to summarize the advanced foreign experience and identify the features of the state management of scientific and technological development. Proposals for the formation of a strategic planning system for the scientific and technological development of Russian regions are formulated.

The system of relations between the consumer and the seller has many factors that shape the dynamics of the market of goods and services based on the supply chain strategy. Supply chains satisfy customers by striving for delivering the right products to the right place at the right time, at the right quality and at the right quantity within an increasingly faster pace and lower cost. Theories of social entropy consider the system of social relations from the standpoint of the equilibrium of systems and their disproportion.

The article discloses methodological approaches to quantifying the level of penetration of block chain technologies into the regional socioeconomic environment in comparison to the supply chain strategies. Based on the methods of mathematical and statistical analysis, it allows you to formalize and convert a large array of data of a qualitative order into a single scale for measuring the process under study - the level of demand in the regional socio-economic environment for block chain technology.

This research is to design the Indonesian LPG distribution system through Location-allocation modelling taking into account the existing facilities. Location-allocation model is developed in fixed charge capacitated location-allocation problem considering transportation and inventory decisions. Multi echelon LPG distribution system is considered to be modelled from regional warehouse to agents.

The purpose of this research is to model the factors affecting a production and inventory system that combines returns and remanufacturing, and to evaluate effective control strategies in order to improve the performance of the system. In this regard, the main steps adopted to conduct the modelling process initially involved an investigation of reverse logistics and closed loop supply modelling as reported in the literature. An investigation of previous models developed contributed to our research by increasing the knowledge required to conduct the modelling.

The major aims of this project centred around building capacity in protected cropping systems, trialling these systems with tomatoes and cucumbers in Vietnam and introducing farmers and other supply chain partners to these systems. As such, the emphasis was never intended to be on improving supply chains, merely examining current vegetable supply chains and determining the major problems. Protected cropping provides vegetable growers with an opportunity to enhance product quality and improve food safety. The overall objective of this project was to provide Vietnamese scientists and extension specialists with the training and tools to implement and foster regionally feasible improvements to current vegetable production practices and supply chains.
