Governments and countries are making efforts to overcome the consequences of climate change, especially reducing greenhouse emissions. The concept of “carbon market” was also born from there as one of the economic solutions to solve environmental problems. By studying the experiences of some countries in the Emissions Trading Mechanism, this article offers some suggestions for Vietnam to improve the legal framework as well as organize and operate the carbon market effectively.

The study found that nematode composition differed significantly between the upper and deeper layers of sediment but not among the deeper layers. Nematode density showed spatial variability across layers, with higher values in the upper layer. Nematode diversity decreased with increasing depth. Non–selective deposit feeders (1B) were dominated in the surface layers, while the predator–omnivores feeders (2B) was numerous in the deeper layers

This paper reviews Vietnam’s implementation of fiscal policies in response to climate change. The impact of tax and fee policies on greenhouse gas emission reduction is insignificant. Public spending on climate change adaptation primarily focuses on infrastructure projects to enhance resilience capacity, while the budget for mitigation activities only constitutes a small proportion.

Tidal energy is a renewable energy source produced by the rise and fall of ocean tides. Tidal energy can be exploited using a special type of generator that converts tidal energy into electricity. Tidal power generation has the potential to open up many prospects for energy field and minimize carbon dioxide emissions that cause the greenhouse effect.

This study was carried out to investigate the impacts of bacterial inoculation on texturally different soil samples under greenhouse conditions. Sandy loam (SL), clay loam (CL), and clay (C) textured soils were inoculated with Bacillus arenosi K64 (B. arenosi), Bacillus megaterium M3 (B. megaterium), and Bacillus subtilis OSU 142 (B. subtilis) isolates and then incubated at 5 different periods [I (20 days), II (40 days), III (60 days), IV (80 days), and V (100 days)].

The objective of the study "Effects of some commercial products on root and crown rot caused by Phytophthora cactorum in apple cultivation" was to evaluate the effects of eleven commercial products (bio-pesticides, fertilizers, and activators) on P. cactorum by comparing plant growth parameters (trunk diameter, plant height, number of branches, and root dry weight). Trials were conducted according to a randomized complete block design with three replicates in a greenhouse in 2 consecutive years.

Dendrobium orchids are popularly used as cut flowers because they come in a wide range of vibrant colours besides being able to produce high number of flowers per inflorescence. There is a significant interest in developing methods to promote early flowering in commercial Dendrobium orchids. The greenhouse experiment were conducted on Dendrobium sonia orchid and arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications in nethouse condition at Ho Chi Minh city.

Geothermal energy constitutes an important renewable resource in Turkey that has been extensively utilized for heating buildings, power generation, greenhouse farming and various other industries. One of the most remarkable geothermal locations in Turkey is the low-enthalpy area of Afyon, where five main low-temperature (30–110℃) geothermal fields are exploited. However, further exploration drilling sites have proven inconclusive, casting doubts on the effective presence of high-temperature geothermal systems in the region.
