1.Present perfect
1. Positive Forms: S+ Have/ has/ + V( cột 3/ed).
2. Negative Form: S+ Have/ has + not + V( cột 3/ed).
3. Interrogative form : Wh- + Have/ has/ + S + V( cột 3/ed)?.
4. Have/ has/ + S + V( cột 3/ed)?.
5. Adverbs : Since,For , not….. yest, just, already, recently, never,ever
Exercise 1:Write sentences, using the present perfect with already and yet

2. Past Progressive tense
1. Positive Forms: S+ was/ were/ + V-ing
2. Negative Form: S+ was/ were/ + not + V-ing
3. Interrogative form : Wh- + was/ were/ + S + V-ing?.
Was/ were / + S + V-ing?.
4. Adverbs : Past simple tense ( ago, last, yesterday)+ present progressive tense( now, at
the moment, at present, at 7 o,clock)
5. The usage: When, While
a. Thì Quá khứ tiếp diễn còn diễn tả một hành động đang diễn ra tại một thời điểm trong
quá khứ thì có một hành động khác xen vào.
Example: When Tom arrived, we were having dinner
I was walking down the street when it began to rain
b. Thì Quá khứ tiếp diễn còn diễn tả hai hành động song song cùng diễn ra tại một thời điểm
trong quá khứ.
Example: While I was studying my lesson, my brother was playing soccer.
c. Chúng ta dùng thì quá khứ tiếp diễn với always khi phàn nàn, hoặc biểu lộ sự bực mình
hay tức giận.
Example: Mary was always throwing her dirty socks away on the floor.
(Mary luôn vứt đôi tất của cô ấy bừa bãi trên sàn nhà)
Exercise 3:Write sentences, using the past progressive tense

3 .Reported Speech(Câu trực tiếp – Câu gián tiếp)
1. Câu trực tiếp là câu mệnh lệnh:
a.Mệnh lệnh khẳng định:
S + told + O+ to- infinitive.
Example: “ Please wait for me outside the movie theater” Tom said to Mary.
=>Tom told Mary to wait for him outside the movie theater.
b.Mệnh lệnh phủ định:
S + told + O+ not + to- infinitive.
Example: “ Don,t stand up, please!”My teacher said to us
=> My teacher told us not to stand up.
2. Câu trực tiếp là câu khẳng định:
Example:
1.Miss Lien said to Tim:” You take a fews day off now.”
=>Miss Lien told Tim he took a fews day off then.
S1+ said+ O (that)+ S2 + V(tense)+ Adv
Chú ý : Trong câu gián tiếp thì chủ ngữ 2, động từ và trạng từ(nếu có) sẽ bị thay đổi
