The objective of this qualitative research is to investigate the intricate role that peer support plays in enhancing the outcomes of English language acquisition. The study conducts in-depth interviews with six students to EFL students' perspectives of peer support in English language learning.

Artificial intelligence has rapidly been integrated into education, which has substantially impacted academic writing, especially among EFL students. This study investigates Vietnamese EFL students’ artificial intelligence literacy and tool usage for writing, and the correlation between these two aspects. A quantitative study using a questionnaire was conducted with 214 English major students at a private university.

This quantitative research aims to examine 75 EFL students’ perspectives of teacher creativity in teaching English speaking skills at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. Using Kharkhurin’s (2014) conceptual framework of creativity, the paper focuses on four dimensions of teachers’ novelty, utility, aesthetics and authentic attributes in teaching English speaking skills.

The present study examined the strategies used by English major students to cope with boredom at Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this study, the efficacy of educational technology tools in enhancing speaking skills was explored through a quasi-experimental design involving 84 IT freshmen. Employing tools such as FORVO (FV), YouGlish (YG), and Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary (OALD) 8th edition, the research compared the speaking abilities of students using these technologies (experimental group) against those taught through traditional methods (control group).

This study aimed to determine the effects of self-questioning on pre-intermediate EFL students’ reading comprehension and explore their perceptions of learning to read with self-questioning. A quasi-experimental design was carried out among two groups of sixty-eight Vietnamese pre-intermediate students over a nine-week reading course using self-questioning and teacher-posed questions.
