To assess the value of routine ultrasound (US) imaging and histopathological results of ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy (US-CNB) of abnormal cervical lymphadenopathy. Subject and method: From September 2022 to August 2023, a total 112 patients with clinical suspected cervical lymph nodes (CLNs) and/or have suspected signs on US (width ≥ 5mm, round in shape and absent hilus of CLNs) underwent US-CNB at 108 Military Central Hospital.

Extended mediastinal with bilateral recurrent laryngeal nerves (RLNs) lymph node dissection (LND) is critical to curative surgery in the treatment of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Some reports in Robotic transthoracic esophagectomy (RTE) have some advantages over Thoracoscopic esophagectomy (TE) in increasing the exposure and accuracy of mediastinal LND. However, published data was still limited.

Thyroid carcinomas are the most common endocrine malignancies. The cervical lymph node metastasis rate in patients with PTC ranges from 30-80% and there is a significant difference in survival at 14 years for those with and without lymph node metastases. Therefore, the early detection of metastatic cervical lymph nodes plays an essential role in deciding upon the optimal surgical treatment plan for the majority of patients, which will allow careful postoperative screening, adjuvant therapies, and minimizes the chance of disease recurrence, so we conducted this study.

Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the common types of cancer in Vietnam. Over 50% of GCs are diagnosed at an unresectable stage. Deficiency in mismatch repair proteins (MMR) leading to microsatellite instability (MSI-H) is a crucial prognostic factor currently under investigation in these patients.

The thesis has two objectives: Determining the degree of lymph node metastasis and characteristics of lymph node dissection technique in laparoscopic surgery for colon cancer. Evaluating the effectiveness of laparoscopic radical surgery for colon cancer and their related factors.

Comment on the results of the method of visualization and sentinel lymph node biopsy in thyroid carcinoma by Methylene blue in Hanoi Medical University Hospital from 11/2014 to 9/2018 and analyze the some factors affecting the results of method. Evaluate the value of sentinel lymph node biopsy in the diagnosis of occult cervical lymph node metastasis.
