Reading 1 has been composed for learners starting to be familiar with IELTS
reading question types.
The book contains 8 units for classroom study. Each containing vocabulary
related to IELTS topics, two-three types of IELTS reading questions which make
learner be familiar with IELTS reading question format, prepare learners with basic
strategies for approaching each question type, also homework for self-study. There are
5 complete IELTS practice tests for further practice.
There are some useful tips to follow:
- Try to answer the questions without looking at a dictionary so you can develop
your ability of guessing the meaning of unknown words from context.
- Check your answers carefully and learn from the mistakes (if any).
- Try to revise what you have learnt and always complete any assignments before
the next lesson.
