THE EIFFEL TOWER
The Eiffel Tower is considered one of the most impressive man-made structures in Paris, the City of Lights. The
construction was started in 1887 and completed in 1889. It was named after the architect and metal expert, Gustave Eiffel,
whose company designed and built the tower. It was mainly made of iron and steel. The tower is an architectural wonder.
Every year, the Eiffel Tower attracts and welcomes more visitors than any other paid tourist attractions in the country. It is

tower to keep it looking new. About 500 people are working at the tower to make sure that visitors can enjoy the views of
