Problem(s): Students may not pronounce exactly about /b/
and /p/
Solution(s): Teacher helps them pronounce.

“Good morning/ Good afternoon, everyone. How are you?”
Listen rule game and play game. “To begin, I have a mini game. I divide our class to 4 group. The rule game
is group 1 and 2 write words to begin letter /b/, group 3 and 4 write words to begin letter /p/. And you remember that don’t use your book and notebook, please!
Do you understand?
Are you ready?”
Pre-pronunciation ( 7 minutes)
Introduces lesson. Unit 10 (cont.) Listen to teacher and take note. Pronunciation: /b/ , /p/ “ Today, you study pronunciation /b/ and /p/”
Explains pronunciation /b/ and /p/.
Asks Ss listen and repeat each consonant /b/ and /p/. Listen and repeat each consonant /b/ and /p/.
While – pronunciation ( 20 minutes)
Words : Shows words and read each words. Look at the board and listen. “ pin /pin/ – bin/bin/,
pen /pen/ – Ben /ben/, “ You look at the words and listen to me”
Listen and repeat. pear/peə(r)/ – bear /beə(r)/ , Then, asks Ss to listen and repeat. cap /kæp/ – cab /kæb/,
pup /pʌp/ – pub /pʌb/”
Work in pairs. Asks Ss to work in pairs in 1 minute.
Individual.
Invites individual to read these words. Stand up and repeat.
Listen to audio twice. Audio of each sentences : Plays audio for students listening each sentences twice.
“Pen, please! – Ben, please!
Listen and repeat Then, asks Ss to listen and repeat. What a lively pup! – What a lively pub!”
Invites individual to read these sentences. Stand up and repeat each sentences.
Post – pronunciation ( 13 minutes)
Shows exercise. Take notes.
Then, asks Ss to listen carefully three times and tick the words a) or b) that they hear in the sentences. Answers: Go to the board and write answers. 1b)bin 4a)pig
Invites Ss to go to the board and write their answers.

“ Now, I have a mini exercise. You work in groups and you listen carefully three times and tick the words a) or b) that you hear in the sentences. Next, you will have 1 minute to complete it. Finally, 1 person each group will go to the board and write it. If any groups write the fastest and do the best exercise, you will have a big present.”
Plays audio again and checks their answers. Correct mistakes and take note.
