This article aims to understand the trends of the STI policy development in the world in the context of green growth, and sustainable development thereby linking it to Vietnam and identifying the problems posed to it. The article comprises four sections: (1) Trends in green growth, and sustainable development and the role of STI; (2) Green growth and sustainable development requirements for the STI policy development; (3) New trends in the STI policy development in the context of green growth and sustainable development; (4) Implications for STI policy development in Vietnam.

In the current context, where numerous factors are influencing national development goals, countries - particularly those in developed regions such as the EU - are increasingly relying on the driving force of science, technology and innovation (STI) to achieve these goals. Among these, STI development policy plays a fundamental role.

Education in Vietnam has entered a period of innovation towards developing learners' attributes and competencies. Finding measures to develop competence in general and creative problem-solving competence in particular for students in high schools is necessary in the current context.

This study examines the impact of a customer-centric approach and entrepreneurial orientation on innovation ambidexterity in Vietnamese small and medium enterprises. Although research on innovation ambidexterity has primarily focused on large firms, studies addressing the unique challenges small and medium enterprises face in balancing explorative and exploitative innovation, especially within the Vietnamese context remain limited.

This study investigates the impact of intellectual property rights enforcement on Korea’s technological exports to 158 partner countries during 2010–2022. Using a gravity model and GMM estimation, the findings reveal a significant positive effect of IPR on exports across all technology levels.

With firm-wide big data analytics capability growing rapidly, academics and practitioners have been considering the mechanism through which big data analytics capability can leverage innovation capability. This article analyzes the influence of big data analytics capability on both two types of innovation capability: incremental and radical, with the mediating role of total market orientation.

The Credit-Module System (CMS) has been applied in various countries in order to increase students’ independence and all-round competence. Based on CMS, students can take courses of their choice, learn at their own pace, and take additional courses. Students are the center of this educational system. The research extends the understanding of these factors through the incorporation of Absorptive Capacity (ACAP). Accordingly, a model is developed that integrates ACAP, MVC and MV with market-driving innovation performance, comprising before-launch stage performance, post-launch stage performance and financial performance. External and internal structural factors relevant to the firm such as size and the nature of its competitive environment are also considered as moderators in the model. The data were derived from a web-based survey of 179 managers from top innovative companies in Thailand. The focus of the research was at the NPD program level.

This thesis investigated the relationship between Workplace Innovation and Organizational Culture within the context of a large Victorian Public Sector Organization. Culture in this study is treated at three levels; public sector culture, organizational culture, and group (department) level culture. The thesis utilized a case study approach within a Victorian State Government Department and an explanatory sequential mixed methods approach was undertaken.

The aim of this thesis is to integrate a consideration of individual and organisational factors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the elements that may influence employees’ creativity and innovation. Five important factors are investigated in this thesis: leadership, the organisational climate, personal initiative, employees’ creativity, and employees’ innovation.
