Investigation of the pile group effect subjected to lateral load based on finite element analysis

This study aimed to investigate the pile group effect subjected to lateral load. To achieve this scope, the finite element analysis program Plaxis 3D was used to model a single pile and a pile group with a depth of 18 m. The 2x2 pile groups spaced at 3D and 5D, where D is the pile diameter, were evaluated.
