MY ROOM
My room is comfortable and pleasant for me to study and relax. My neighborhood
is very quiet because people behave politely. In addition, my room is quite large with all
conveniences for my study such as a desk, a chair, a blackboard, lights and a computer...
Therefore I study in group in it. Since my father connects wireless at home, I often surf
internet to search information to serve my study. Beside, I feel fun when I chat with close
friends. And it’s a way I use to reduce stress. Another ways, I write blog and comment
friend’s blog or listen to music and watch beautiful flowers because my father’s orchids
garden next to my window’s room. I don’t need take much time to go to school’s library,
internet service or park. Almost things I need do, I can do them in my room. Maybe the
longest activity I do in my room is sleep. I always sleep well in my bed because it is very
comfortable with Kymdan cushion, cotton blanket and a nice teddy bear. I love my room
because it’s perfect place for my study and relax ion.

ADVANTAGES OF STUDYING IN GROUP
Studying in group offers student some important advantages. The first advantage
is cooperation spirit among members. If they don’t cooperate, they will get low result
because studying in group requires each member to know to share assignments of the
group. Secondly, they can help one another. Since members have different abilities, some
members don’t understand about some problem. The rest of group will explain that
problem clearly. That means they know to share their knowledge. Besides, there is a good
competition inside group. Most of members in group like to become the best members
who fulfill a lot of their work. Therefore, each member tries to widen his knowledge.
Next, studying in group help students form some good habits which the active life
requires. They are “split an assignment to solve” and “making a schedule logically”. If
they don’t do that well, they won’t fulfill their assignments on time. The final advantage
of studying in group is developing language skills. Because studying in group consists of
statement about assignments in front of some other groups, they must state clearly and
easy to understand. In addition, that helps them become more concentrated. Briefly,
studying in group is used in many school all over the world because its advantages.

The first time I failed in studying, I was very disappointed. I thought every door
closed while I have come. I didn’t talk about it to anyone. One month later, I recovered
balance. I decided to review to go to university. To have money for studying, I worked as
a secretary for an insurance company. I concentrated on my purpose-go to university. The
day I took an exam to go to university, I did three tests easily. I always thought: “Do
everything as I can’t fail”.
The day I knew I pass that exam with high marks (26/30), I was very happy. I first
thanked myself because I tried all my best. I deserved best result. That was I realized the
satisfaction of doing hard work well.

THE EFFECTS OF THE GLOBAL VILLAGE ON MY LIFE
The global village offers some good effects on my life. The first effect is
widening knowledge. Because development of internet, I can search information that I
need to widen my knowledge. Moreover, I can share my knowledge to everyone. For
instance, I upload my lesson plans and multiple-choice-questions to everyone can refer to
them. Secondly, I can learn experience from people all over the world. I online and join a
forum of education to discuss about teaching methods. Beside, the global village helps
me contact people conveniently and quickly. Ten years ago, the sending a letter took
some days. Nowadays, you only take few seconds to send an e-mail (electronic mail).
With a cell phone, I can connect people whenever and wherever I need. The global
village is a place where many languages are spoken; however, the one that is predominant
is English. That effect on my life is learning English as the second language. Next, my
entertainment becomes more diversified. Since there are many global channels on
television, I can enjoy many interesting films on HBO and Disney channels. Finally, I can
buy some import goods with cheaper price. Because the taxes on import goods will
decrease if different countries are joining together.
