To evaluate effects of targeted temperature management by surface cooling device in patients suffering from acute brain injury with refractory fever. Subject and method: Patients of traumatic brain injury, intracerebral hemorrhage with refractory fever in the first 24 hours and without exclusion criteria.

Environmentally friendly organic coatings which are water-based, have low or no solvents and good physical properties based on the use of acrylate monomers/acrylate oligomers originating from vegetable oils are gaining attention as we move towards sustainable chemistry. This work reports the deposition of a dense α-Ta and β-Ta films to enhance the surface hardness and biocompatibility of Ti by applying a different negative substrate bias during direct current (DC) sputtering. When a Ta film was deposited with a negative substrate bias voltage of 70 V, the microstructure of the film exhibited a single β-Ta phase.

Cellulase, an enzyme that helps soften fruit peel, is produced by plants during the fruit ripening phase. Utilizing the immersing water from the white pepper processing to extract cellulase will help minimizing environmental waste and retrieving valuable compounds. Some factors affecting the cellulase yield from the immersing water of pepper were studied, including the degree of ripeness of peppercorn, immersing temperature and time.

In this study, we synthesized YPO4:x%Tb3+ using the combustion synthesis method and investigated the effects of annealing temperature and dopant concentration on the structural, morphological, and optical properties of the material.

The Red River Delta (RRD) is one of the regions most significantly impacted by climate change (CC) in Vietnam. This study utilizes correlation assessment methods and regression equations to evaluate the trends of certain meteorological factors and extreme weather events during the period 1961 - 2020 in the RRD.

Land use and land cover (LULC) change is a key factor influencing land surface temperature (LST) dynamics. This change reflects partly global warming and climate change at local and regional scales. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of LULC on LST change in Lac Duong mountainous district, Lam Dong province in the past 10 years (2013 - 2023), and predict the LST change in 2030.

This article presents a numerical investigation focusing on the temperature distribution of first-stage turbine rotor blades that do not feature internal cooling channels. The results indicate the regions of peak temperatures and evaluate rotor blade strength.

The present paper also includes strength prediction models that consider the influence of curing temperature. In addition, the Thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) used to determine the chemically bound water content in cement-treated soil and the X-ray diffraction (XRD) test to explain the chemical mechanism in cement-treated soil are also mentioned.
