These substances are oily, insoluble in water and
create a waterproof film
Những chất mang tính dầu, không tan trong nước và
tạo được lớp film chống thấm nước.
- Oil (Dầu): liquid at 21 oC
- Sáp : solid at 21 oC
Use high concentrations in cosmetic products: creams,
lotions, shampoos, conditioners, lipsticks...
Sử dụng hàm lượng cao trong các sản phẩm mỹ phẩm
: các loại kem, lotion, dầu gội, dầu xả, son môi….

Important properties when used in
cosmetics:
• Low volatility at room temperature and
insoluble in water.
•Spread easily on the skin and leave a
viscous, hydrophobic film on the skin
•Emulsify easily with water in the
presence of a suitable emulsifier
• Good dissolving role as good solvent
• Soften and prevent dry skin by
maintaining the skin's water content,
creating softness for the skin.
Những đặc tính quan trọng khi dùng trong mỹ
phẩm:
• Độ bay hơi thấp ở nhiệt độ phòng và không
tan trong nước.
•Lan tỏa dễ dàng trên da và để lại một lớp
màng nhớt, kỵ nước trên da
•Nhũ hóa dễ dàng với nước khi có mặt một chất
nhũ hóa thích hợp
• vai trò hòa tan tốt như dung môi tốt
• Làm mềm, ngăn chặn sự khô da bằng cách
duy trì lượng nước của da, tạo sự mềm mại
cho da.
Emollient: skin softening, lubricating, nourishing and conditioning
Chất giữa ẩm cho da là những chất có khả năng làm mềm và mượt da,
nuôi dưỡng và cải thiện tình trạng của làn da.
