Sepsis is increasingly difficult to control due to the complex and evolving antibiotic resistance of Escherichia coli strains, making it a significant challenge in modern medicine. This study analyzes the antibiotic resistance in treating sepsis caused by E. coli at Can Tho City General Hospital from 2022 to 2023, based on a cross-sectional descriptive analysis of patient records.

In this paper, we introduce a new method for image reconstruction in ultrasound tomography by using the algebraic method. The numerical results indicate that this method has a shorter computational time and achieves highresolution reconstructions and accurate solutions.

We carried out this study to determine the prevalence of insulin resistance by the QUICKI index and to evaluate the correlation between QUICKI index and the fasting glucose, insulin concentration.

This project is focused on studying the biological effects of low-power RF radiation on the expression and function of mechanosensitive ion channel protein (Piezo-1). To evaluate the effects of long-term exposures, cells were exposed at the frequency of 1800 MHz and power of 17 dBm for a period of 2 and 4 hrs using the transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell exposure system. To study the effects of short-term RF radiation (10 min), exposures emitted from the mobile phone headset at the frequency of 845 MHz and powers of -15 dBm and -5 dBm were applied to cell cultures.

Despite an increase in governments' demand for private participation in infrastructure, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) have received low engagement from the private sector in the task of bridging infrastructure gaps in emerging markets. Previous literature in the field mainly focuses on the effects of PPPs from the governments' perspective and it is inconclusive in its examination of the advantages and disadvantages of the private sector's participation. This thesis addresses these issues by answering three main research questions: (i) Do PPPs benefit partnering private sector firms? (ii) Does higher reliance on the government in PPPs benefit partnering private sector firms? and (iii) Does the relationship between institutional quality and PPP projects benefit partnering private sector firms?

The goal of the thesis: The thesis examined the effect of different nanostructured morphologies in conductive polymer films (PPy, PANi) on NH3 gas sensitivity. The thesis fabricated the nanostructured hybrid films between metal oxide (NiO) and conductive polymer (PPy) successfully and examined the NH3 gas sensitivity properties of the NiO / PPy hybrid film.

The present study was conducted to study the prevalence of the food borne zoonotic pathogen of animal origin, L. monocytogenes by isolation and identification, molecular detection and antibiotic sensitivity pattern from different samples of cattle sources in Aizawl district of Mizoram. A total 200 numbers of sample including cattle faeces (50), raw milk (50) and milk products (100) were collected randomly from different unorganized shop and farms.

India accounts for 30% of neonatal deaths globally. Bacterial sepsis is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in newborns. The study helps to make antibiotic policy in neonatal sepsis. The main objective is to study the incidence of multidrug resistant gram negative and gram positive organisms causing neonatal septicemia and their antibiotic sensitivity pattern. The study was conducted in the Department of Microbiology over a period of one year. Sample of blood was collected under aseptic precautions and processed by standard techniques. Microorganisms were identified by Gram staining, standard biochemical tests and appropriate antibiograms.

This presents the advantage of decoupling the management of the minor actinides from the conventional fuel and not impacting the core reactivity coefficients.
