4. Comparisons:
a. So sánh bằng: S + to be + as + adj + as + Noun/ pronoun
Eg. She is as tall as her mother.
b. So sánh không bằng:
S + to be not + as/ so + adj + as + Noun/ pronoun
Eg. This car isn't as modern as that one.
c. So sánh giống nhau:
S + to be + the same + (N) + as + Noun/ pronoun
Eg. She is the same age as me.
d. So sánh không giống nhau:
S + to be not + the same + (N)+ as + Noun/ pronoun
She isn't the same height as her friend.
e. So sánh khác nhau :
S + to be + different from + Noun/ pronoun

5. A, an, some, any, many, much, a lots, a lot of
a. a và an (một)
Avà an được dùng cho danh từ số ít đếm được. Ađứng trước phụ âm, an đứng trước nguyên âm
(tính theo cách phát âm chứ không phải cách viết)
Eg: a cat, a house, an ocean, an hour.
b. some (một vài, một ít)
Some được dùng cho các danh từ không đếm được (một ít) hoặc đếm được số nhiều (một vài)
trong câu khẳng định.
Eg: There is some water in the bottle.
There are some books on the desk.
Note:Would you like some milk tea?
Can you give me some books, please?
c.any được dùng cho các danh từ không đếm được hoặc đếm được số nhiều ở trong câu phủ định
và câu hỏi.
Eg: There isn't any food.
Are there any chairs in the room?
d. many (nhiều): dùng trước danh từ đếm được số nhiều.

e. much (nhiều): dùng trước danh từ không đếm được.
He doesn’t have much money.
