Nguyen Thi Bao Trang, for her insightful comments, direction, advice,
support, encouragement, and prompt feedback during my research
work. Without her guidance and persistent help, this dissertation would
not have been possible.
I would also like to extend my profound gratitude to the lecturers and
professors of University of Foreign Languages and International
Studies, Hue University for their devoted and patient guidance of me as
I undertook my programme of study. I greatly benefited from their
assistance, encouragement, and willingness to participate on academic

I am incredibly grateful to my colleagues, the students and the alumni
