In the contemporary landscape of Vietnam's deeply integrating economy, intense competition necessitates robust financial analysis for enterprises to ensure survival and sustainable growth. While corporate financial analysis is a well-established field, specific investigations into leading multi-industry entities often reveal unique challenges. This study addresses the critical need for a comprehensive financial evaluation of the Imex Pan-Pacific Company Limited – Hanoi Branch, a significant player in various sectors. Despite positive economic trends, the branch has encountered financial difficulties, including declining revenue and profitability, during the 2021-2024 period. Therefore, this research aims to meticulously analyze its financial performance and structure, identify underlying causes of limitations, and subsequently propose targeted solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support its strategic financial planning for 2025-2027, thereby contributing to its resilience in a volatile market.

This study underscores the crucial role of periodic financial analysis in assessing corporate solvency, asset utilization, and operational efficiency. It highlights that while financial statements offer foundational data, a deeper financial analysis is essential to fully grasp a company's financial health, inherent risks, and future prospects. The research systematically establishes a robust theoretical framework for corporate financial analysis, detailing its processes, diverse methodologies, information sources, and key evaluative criteria. Adopting a comprehensive methodology that includes comparison, ratio, Dupont analysis, documentary analysis and synthesis, and descriptive statistics, the study conducts an in-depth financial analysis of the Imex Pan-Pacific Company Limited – Hanoi Branch for the period 2021-2024. This examination meticulously dissects major financial indicators, statements, and performance metrics, pinpointing organizational strengths such as capital stability and profitability in core areas, while also exposing weaknesses like short-term debt pressures and suboptimal asset utilization. The findings reveal that despite broader economic growth, the Hanoi Branch has grappled with challenges including revenue contraction, escalating costs, and subdued profitability compared to industry peers. Based on these insights and financial forecasts extending to 2027, the research proposes actionable strategies. These encompass restructuring the capital base to optimize costs, enhancing operational efficiency through stringent cost control and streamlined financial management, developing a robust medium-term financial strategy, strategically mobilizing long-term investment capital, and integrating digital technology for advanced cash flow management. This research offers significant practical value by providing the branch's leadership with a detailed financial overview and feasible solutions to overcome current limitations, thereby bolstering business efficiency and supporting future financial plan implementation. It also serves as a valuable academic reference in financial management.
