Nội dung tóm tắt
This research paper is a comprehensive study on the impact of various factors on the quality of care provided to elderly individuals within community support organizations in Vietnam. Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu serves as the author, and the study utilizes a combined approach of collecting significant data (quality data) with standard data (quantitative data). To conduct this research, a survey of 129 community support organizations was conducted, accompanied by interactions with several individuals. The findings reveal:
1. Community support organizations specializing in elderly care demonstrate better quality of care compared to general community support organizations.
2. Community support organizations located outside of government jurisdiction may provide better quality of care compared to those under government control.
3. Factors contributing positively to the quality of care include financial support from the elderly individuals themselves (from their clients) and the dedication of staff towards their profession.
4. Factors negatively impacting the quality of care include large-scale community support organizations (as they may neglect quality care in favor of quantity) and the age of the elderly individuals (as they require more specific care).
The research paper also discusses various potential benefits, recommending:
1. Development of specialized community support organizations for elderly care.
2. Strengthening training programs and encouraging staff dedication.
3. Increasing financial support for elderly care.
4. Improving family support services.
