A sociolinguistic study on the online interactions in a Korean dramas blog of overseas Vietnamese fans

This study explores the sociolinguistic practices of overseas Vietnamese fans of Korean dramas (Kdramas) through their interactions on an online blog. Utilizing an online ethnography approach, the author collected qualitative data from blog posts and interactions. The findings reveal that K-drama fans develop a unique vernacular, often incorporating code-mixing, which may be incomprehensible to non-fans.
