Giới thiệu tài liệu
Chapter 3 focuses on technical drawing conventions for common mechanical engineering parts and joints. The goal is to provide knowledge and guidance for students and engineers to accurately represent machine parts and their connections in technical drawings, adhering to Vietnamese (TCVN) and international (ISO) standards.
Đối tượng sử dụng
The goal of this chapter is to help readers master technical drawing conventions so that they can create and understand technical drawings accurately, thereby serving the design, manufacture, and assembly of parts and machine assemblies in the mechanical industry.
Nội dung tóm tắt
This chapter details drawing conventions for mechanical drives, including spur gears, rack and pinion, bevel gears, and worm gear sets, emphasizing geometric parameters and their representation in technical drawings according to TCVN.
The chapter also includes guidance on drawing conventions for springs, an important machine component, covering different spring types such as torsion springs, coil springs, disc springs, and leaf springs, along with necessary technical specifications on manufacturing drawings.
Non-detachable joints such as riveted joints and welded joints are also presented, including rivet types, how to draw them on drawings, welding symbols according to TCVN 3746:83 (equivalent to ISO 2553:1992), and how to represent them on technical drawings.
In addition, this chapter presents threaded connections, including thread elements, thread drawing conventions according to TCVN 5907:1995, standard thread types, and how to dimension threads.
Finally, this chapter covers key joints, including flat keys, Woodruff keys, gib-head keys, splines, how to install them, and how to draw various types of keys in technical drawings.
