Nano TiO2 materials

In this article, we present a process to synthesize new material using urea modified nitrogen TiO2 nano using the hydrometallurgical method. A solution that was a mixture of TiCl4, (NH2)2CO, NH4NO3 and PVA was hydrolyzed at a „suitable‟ temperature and stirring speed and then calcined at 600 oC in 3 hours

The objective of the thesis is to produce two types of phase-phase Nano TiO2 materials Nitrogen inclusion on aluminum oxide metal (N-TiO2 / Al2O3) applied as a filter for air purifiers and nanocomposit hydroxyl apatite coated on nitrogen doped TiO2 (HA / N-TiO2) on the wall to treat toluene, Bacteria and fungi contaminate the air.

Chemical doping nitrogen in to TiO2 crystal network by methods of sol-gel and impregnation was presented. The obtained nitrogen-doped TiO2 materials were characterized by different techniques such as XRD, SEM, UV-VIS. It was shown that samples have very uniform nano size, anatas structure and low level of band-gap energy (Ebg ~ 2.2 eV, ~ 500 - 600 nm). Their activity and kinetic were also studied and the results proved that in comparison with P25, the obtained nitrogen-doped TiO2 had higher activity and photo-quantum efficiency in organic disintegrated reaction under solar radiation.
