Mục tiêu của đề tài là đề xuất một phương pháp đơn giản để xác định hàm lượng fucoidan dựa trên phản ứng kết tủa fucoidan với cetavlon (một dạng amin bậc 4). Từ đó, đánh giá độ chính xác và hiệu quả sử dụng phương pháp phân tích đã đề xuất.

The charged quaternary ammonium compounds – methyl, ethyl and benzyl viologens – generate reactive oxygen species in photosynthetic cells. Three independent methyl viologen-resistant spontaneous mutants of Synechocys-tis sp. PCC 6803 were identified, in which the conserved R115 residue of the Slr1174 protein was replaced with G115, L115 and C115. The Slr1174 protein of the DUF990 family is related to the permease subunit of an ABC-2-type transporter and its R115 mutation was found to be solely responsible for the observed methyl viologen resistance. ...

Phase-transfer-catalyzed alkylation of glycinate Schiff base with racemic secondary alkyl halides proceeded with excellent levels of synand enantioselectivities under the influence of a chiral quaternary ammonium bromide and 18- crown-6. The alkylation product can be selectively converted to the corresponding anti isomer, allowing the preparation of all the stereoisomers of β-alkyl-α-amino acid derivatives.
