It introduces the basic knowledge about the usage of past simple 2, time expressions; vocabulary about relationships, spelling and silent letters; reading about three inventions; speaking about famous inventions; writing about a friend. II. Aims:
1. Knowledge:
Knowing the usage of past simple 2, time expressions Understanding the vocabulary about relationships, spelling and silent letters. Reading about three inventions. Enhancing writing skill: writing about a friend.
2. Skill:
Reading the vocabulary fluently. Practicing speaking skill. Practicing listening skill
3. Attitude:
Paying attention to the lesson. Contributing the ideas to the lesson. Working in groups enthusiastically.

Curriculum: For students at Tay Nguyen School – Full time. Teaching program: New Headway Elementary. Teaching aids: Textbooks, pictures, handouts, computer, projector, board. Testing and assessment: communicative approach, group discussion.

Give some cards of time and ask Ss to read and then give the cards of time prepositions and ask them put with the correct time expression Task 1.2 : Ask Ss to underline all the dates in the texts. Let them know that all these dates are incorrect and ask them to listen and correct them. Task 3: Ask Ss to work individually , read the text again and then do task 3 Then compare their answers with their partners. Play the tape and ask them listen and check. Task 4 : Ask Ss to work in groups and make some more incorrect sentences about the texts and then ask other groups to make them negative and give correct answers Ex: G1: Mary Anderson often visited New York by air.
