The aims of the study are as the follows: to help students gain the grammatical points through contextual situations in a short story. It means learning grammar in real situations. To develop students’ ability to apply grammatical knowledge in their communication better.

The experience of English teaching, especially speaking class, comes from the actual classroom and that is not a good news for a new teacher, who does not have it but urgently needs to acquire the basic knowledge. This writing provides the reasons why the level of interesting acts as a crucial point in the succeeding of a class. Furthermore, some methods of teaching speaking are going to be viewed and discussed to strengthen the point of view that intrinsic motivation should be applied in the class.

The objective of the thesis is to develop the iterative method and combining it with other methods to study qualitative and especially the method of solving some two-point boundary problems for the fourth-order differential equations and systems, arising in beam bending theory without using condition of growth rate at infinity, Nagumo condition, etc. of the right-hand side function.

Research objective: The thesis is devoted to extend some results on the existence of fixed points in metric spaces to spaces with uniform structure. We also considered the existence of solutions of some classes of integral equations with unbounded deviation, which we can not apply fixed point theorems in metric spaces. The thesis can be a reference for under graduated students, master students and Ph.D students in analysis major in general, and the fixed point theory and applications in particular.

MULTIPLICITY RESULTS FOR A CLASS OF ASYMMETRIC WEAKLY COUPLED SYSTEMS OF SECOND-ORDER ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS FRANCESCA DALBONO AND P. J. MCKENNA Received 1 November 2004 We prove the existence and multiplicity of solutions to a two-point boundary value problem associated to a weakly coupled system of asymmetric second-order equations. Applying a classical change of variables, we transform the initial problem into an equivalent problem whose solutions can be characterized by their nodal properties.

ON BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS FOR SECOND-ORDER DISCRETE INCLUSIONS ´ PETR STEHLIK AND CHRISTOPHER C. TISDELL Received 8 October 2004 We prove some existence theorems regarding solutions to boundary value problems for systems of second-order discrete inclusions. For a certain class of right-hand sides, we present some lemmas showing that all solutions to discrete second-order inclusions satisfy an a priori bound. Then we apply these a priori bounds, in conjunction with an appropriate fixed point theorem for inclusions, to obtain the existence of solutions.
