Biology teachers

The information technology (IT) skills has become essential skills for teachers in the 21st century. Therefore, it is necessary to develop IT skills for pre-service teachers of Biology. To build these skills for students, we have used the integration training model (train IT skills in Biology context). Accordingly, skills of mining internet, editing digital images, and using Microsoft PowerPoint of Biology pre-service teacher have improved remarkably.

This study looked at 128 secondary school biology teachers aged 23 - 34 in Hanoi and Dien Bien to ascertain their knowledge and personal opinions about reproductive health. It was found that 68.4% of the teachers had a ‘good’ level of knowledge about reproductive health with no difference between teachers in Hanoi and Dien Bien.
