Bạch cầu máu và C-reactive protein (CRP) là các dấu ấn sinh học phản ánh quá trình viêm. Việc định hướng tác nhân vi sinh vật gây tiêu chảy cấp ở trẻ em dựa vào dấu ấn sinh học được kỳ vọng. Bài viết trình bày xác định giá trị bạch cầu máu, CRP, tỉ lệ tác nhân vi sinh vật gây bệnh tiêu chảy cấp ở trẻ dưới 5 tuổi; xác định mối liên quan giữa bạch cầu máu, CRP với các nhóm tác nhân gây bệnh.

Many biological C-H activation reactions exhibit nonclassical kinetic isotope effects (KIEs). These nonclassical KIEs are too large (kH/kD 7) and/or exhibit unusual temperature dependence such that the Arrhenius prefactor KIEs (AH/AD) fall outside of the semiclassical range near unity. The focus of this minireview is to discuss such KIEs within the context of the environmentally coupled hydrogen tunneling model.

The activity of NTPDase (EC 3.6.1.5, apyrase, CD39) was verified in plate-lets from patients with increasing cholesterol levels. Heme endows human serum albumin (HSA) with heme-protein-like reactiv-ity and spectroscopic properties. Here, the kinetics and thermodynamics of reductive nitrosylation of ferric human serum heme-albumin [HSA-heme-Fe(III)] are reported. All data were obtained at 20C.
