The spatial distributions of atoms, the link distributions and the geometrical distributions of the free volumes need to be fully investigated. The distribution of free volume in the amorphous V2O5 network also needs to be visualized. These are the main contents in this paper.

The acid-treated PG was neutralized by NaOH and CO2 aeration, creating CaCO3 in situ nano-microparticles identified by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and CaCO3 intensity by X-ray diffraction (XRD). In this study, the cement mortar test, which used treated PG from both sulfuric treatment and NaOH neutralization within CO2 aeration, has better compressive strength properties and hydration supported by SEM images, XRD results, and thermogravimetric analysis.

The obtained polymer composite materials (PCM) are examined the technological parameters of the foaming (start time, rise time, and apparent density), the physical-mechanical properties (the compressive stress, compression set, resilience), and the cross-link density.

In this paper, the author uses steel slag, a byproduct of steelmaking processes, for replacing crushed aggregate in base or subbase course. Steel slag-stone dust aggregate (70% steel slag and 30% stone dust) are treated with a cement content of 4%- 8%.

In conclusion, the geotechnical properties of the unhydrated sand-mixed GBFS become more advantageous than those of natural sand. In addition, by mixing with natural sand, the hydration reaction rate and the solidification of GBFS are controlled. This means that it is possible to keep the compressive strength and the permeability at the predetermined conditions and, in turn, to satisfy requirements for the SCP method with LSRAR.
