The KRT5 p.E477K was strong associated with the very severe or lethal of generalized severe EBS (GS-EBS), characterized by the severe symptoms at birth, improving with age and evolution to palmoplantar keratoderma and nail dysplasia. Our finding will aid the molecular diagnosis, prognosis prediction of the patient with GS-EBS due to p.E477K and significant genetic counselling the family concerning the recurrence risk for future pregnancies.

Brachial plexus injury in neonates is a rare obstetrical complication, but it can cause huge anxiety to parents if occurring and sometimes leading to legal disputes in obstetrical practice. Trauma during birth delivery is mainly due to the over-stretch of fetal neck which is the main cause of brachial plexus injury in infants. However, those injuries are self-limited and most of them will self-recover. We conducted a retrospective analysis on ten cases diagnosed of post-delivery brachial plexus injury under monitoring at Tu Du Hospital from January to November 2018.

Medical students experience depression and anxiety at a higher rate than the general population or students from other specialties. While there is a growing literature on the high prevalence of depression and anxiety symptoms and about potential risk factors to the prevalence of depression and anxiety symptoms among medical students, there is a paucity of evidence focused on the prevalence of depression and anxiety symptoms and associations with family function, social support and coping styles in Chinese vocational medicine students.

This analysis discusses about the family-based alternative care in the community for Children in Especially Difficult Circumstances (“CEDC”). Family-based alternative care is a type of social welfare that brings the CEDC or those who are at risk of losing the care from their birth parents into a temporarily stable family while waiting for a permanently stable family which might be their birth family or an adoptive family. Familybased alternative care has many advantages in comparison with the method of entrusting children into social protection facilities.

Malnutrition and poor health status especially in rural areas is a common problem. It retards children growth, increases the risk and duration of illness, reduces work output, and slows social and mental development. Malnutrition among women of reproductive age increases the risk of mortality during labor and delivery and puts their newly born children at risk of long-term deficiencies. Improving nutritional status, including micronutrient status, can lead to increased productivity, increased child survival and growth, and reduced maternal morbidity and mortality.

The objective this work is to calculate the VaR of portfolios via GARCH family models with normal and t-student distribution and via Monte Carlo Simulation. We used three portfolios composite with preferential stocks of five Ibovespa companies. The results show that the t distribution adjusts better to data, because the violation ratio of the VaR calculated with t distribution is less than the violation ratio estimated with normal distribution.
