Doctoral thesis of Philosophy: Modelling of inhomogeneous magnetic fields in electromagnetic devices
This thesis derives closed form equations to describe electromagnetic device characteristics for a toroid, solenoid and a case study induction machine. By considering stored magnetic field energy, this approach allows the relationship between electrical, magnetic and kinetic energy to be quantified and analyzed in ways that allows improved accuracy compared with conventional magnetic circuit modeling methods. This thesis also provides insights into how geometric parameters impact energy transfer and operational characteristics of electromagnetic devices.

The thesis " A Study of Vibration Control of Truck Seat Suspension System" has designed a novel active truck seat suspension system for a further study of active vibration control. A 5-degree-of-freedom driver and seating suspension system model for active vibration control has been developed. A novel fast system parameter identification method from vibration measurement data has been proposed for the seat-occupant system based on the multi-objective Genetic Algorithm optimization (GA).

ADS Tutorial #4 Filter Design Oklahoma State University Part I Synthesis Filters with Lumped Circuit Elements From the top menu click “tool”, and then select “E-Syn” to start it. Click on the “Select Type” button on the top right corner, a menu will pop up and we can select the type of filters. Suppose we need to synthesis 3rd order Chebyshev LPF, and then we can fill the parameter table. Next we click the button for synthesis, and a small window will pop up. Click on the “synthesis” button on the lower left corner, two designs are available, one is CLC circuit...

610 Chapter 14. Statistical Description of Data In the other category, model-dependent statistics, we lump the whole subject of fitting data to a theory, parameter estimation, least-squares fits, and so on. Those subjects are introduced in Chapter 15. Section 14.1 deals with so-called measures of central tendency, the moments of a distribution, the median and mode. In §14.2 we learn to test whether different data sets are drawn from distributions with different values of these measures of central tendency. This leads naturally, in §14.
