The result indicates that in the case of electron-acoustic phonon scattering, the Shubnikov-de Hass oscillation appears. Whereas, in the case of electrons-optical phonons scattering, the peak of magneto-photonphonon resonance appears. In both cases, when temperature increases, the Nernst coefficient decreases rapidly, and for electrons-optical phonons scattering, the resonance peak has a movement.

The derived temperature dependences of the peak intensities, separations and half-widths of the separate spectral peaks in the A-band phonon progressions indicate the different trends for vibration-free zero-phonon electronic transition and vibration-related lower-energy electronic transitions to high vibrational levels of the ground electronic state – lower thermal damping and more softened phonon for the zero-phonon transition, also implying the extended defect origin of the A-band photoluminescence.

We applied the quantum kinetic equation method to investigate the influence of confined optical phonons (confined OP) on the photo-stimulated Ettingshausen effect in rectangular quantum wires (RQW) subjected to a perpendicular magnetic field. We considered the case where the confined electrons-confined OP scattering is the dominant mechanism.

The magneto-transport properties of a borophene monolayer in a perpendicular magnetic field B are studied via calculating the conductivity tensor and resistance under electron-optical phonon interaction by using the linear response theory. Numerical results are obtained and discussed for some specific parameters.

In this work, we investigate the magneto-optical absorption in a phosphorene monolayer subjected to a perpendicular static magnetic field. The magneto-optical absorption power is calculated using the projection operator technique taking account of the effect of electron – optical phonon interaction. Numerical results showed that in the case of absence of any interaction, the higher the resonant frequency, the smaller absorbed power was.

The CdSe, type-II CdSe/CdTe core/shell and type-II/type-I CdSe/CdTe/ZnS core/shell/shell quantum dots (QDs) were successfully synthesized in a noncoordinating solvent. The phonon characterizations, optical properties and structures of the synthesized QDs were characterized by Raman scattering (RS) spectra, photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, PL-decay lifetime, absorption spectroscopy (Abs), and X-ray diffraction (XRD).

Two-colour three-pulse nonlinear spectroscopy can be used to study the dynamics of excited carriers in Si quantum dot structures embedded in SiN. Decays of the transverse optical phonon population and the transverse acoustic phonon population are measured and discussed. A theoretical simulation is also performed to support interpretation of our experimental observations.

Magneto-optical absorption coefficient (MOAC) in infinite square quantum well (SQW) is investigated by time-dependent perturbation method. The dependence of MOAC on the photon energy is calculated and graphically plotted. From the graphs showing this dependence, we obtained the spectral line width (the full-width at half maximum - FWHM) of the cyclotron-phonon resonance peaks using Profile method.
