Based on the analysis of survey findings in some provinces of the Red River Delta, the article points out the causes leading to changes in the sacred spaces of traditional religions. Accordingly, the spiritual needs of the people is the main cause led to the transformation of sacred spaces.

Viet Nam’s coastline faces many natural and human-induced threats, such as erosion, floods, sea-level changes, pollution and saltwater intrusion. Low lying deltas, such as the Mekong Delta and the Red River Delta of Viet Nam are frequently subjected to such threats. The present study investigated the degradation of mangrove forests and changes in shoreline along the coast of Ben Tre.

The Hai Hau district, located in the southeast region of the Nam Dinh province, belongs to the Red river delta where residents mainly rely on agriculture, fisheries, and handicrafts as their livelihood. In recent years, many households have switched from growing rice to Ming aralia (Polyscias fruticosa), a tropical medicinal plant with high economic value.

The Ma river delta located in the North Central of VietNam is the third largest ones in Vietnam following the Mekong Delta and the Red River Delta. However, there are not many researches on sedimentary. This study aims to determine the Characteristics of the Holocene sedimentary facies in coastal plain of the Song Ma Delta based on observation of sedimentary structure and analysis of grain size, diatom, flora, pollen and 14C dating collected for the drill core (LKTH2 borehole) from the coastal plain of the Song Ma river delta.

Hai Hau - Nghia Hung are two coastal districts in the Southeast of Nam Dinh province with total area of 35,652.29 km2 . Located in the middle between the Southern provinces of the Red river delta and the North Central provinces, Hai Hau and Nghia Hung are about 100 km from Hanoi along National Route 1A and 80 km from Hai Phong, in an area directly affected by the Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh growth triangle. The two districts have an approximately 47 km coastline accounting for over 65% of the coastline of the province.

This research paper aims to measure the impacts of human capital on economic growth in Red River Delta by using regression model. The research focuses on identifying the human capital on the framework theory on growth models and examining the economic roles of the human capital regarding the representative parameters. The research shows that human capital has significant roles in economic growth in Red River Delta‟s provinces. In addition, the statistical test shows that the impacts of human capital are varied according to the GDP levels.

Nam Dinh province is located in the Red river delta with a relatively flat terrain. The North East of Nam Dinh is bordered by the Red river and the southwest by the Day river and has a coastline of approximately 80 km. Given the geographical location, Nam Dinh has favourable conditions for agricultural and aquaculture production. Climate change creates a large number of potential risks for Nam Dinh. This includes sea level rise, typhoons, flood tide, etc.

Fresh groundwater was found in the Pleistocene aquifer in the southern part of the Red River Delta in 70’s of last century. It is located mainly in the south of Nam Dinh province and small part in southeast of Ninh Binh province. The fresh-saline boundary seems to migrate southward recently and downsize the area of fresh groundwater.

Poultry production systems have been in existence for a long time. According to archaeological evidence, poultry production in Viet Nam began 3 000–3 500 years ago in the valley of TamDao and BaVi mountain areas (currently belonging to VinhPhuc and Hanoi Provinces). Poultry is raised and well developed in all regions of the country, mainly in Red River Delta (RRD) with 26 percent, followed by Mekong River Delta (MRD) with 20 percent, the northeast with 16 percent and Northeast South with 10 percent.
