We present a novel low-power architecture for the generation of multilevel pulse amplitude modulation (PAM-4) signal generation. A new structure of a micro-ring resonator based on a 44 MMI (Multimode interference) coupler is proposed to control the coupling coefficient and Fano shapes.

Syntheses and detailed spectroscopic characterizations of two similar conjugated microporous polymers formed by A4 + B2 and A2 + B3 type functional monomers via Sonogashira–Hagihara polycondensation are presented in this report. The two porous polymeric networks possess mono-, di-, and tri- (1-, 1,4-, and 1,3,5-, respectively) substituted benzene rings and fused thiophenic moieties (dithienothiophenes). Because of the different conjugation patterns, their solid state nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared, and ultraviolet/visible light absorption analyses indicated significant differences.

We proposed a multi-band metamaterial absorber (MA) based on high-order magnetic resonance using ring-shaped structures. We obtained three absorption peaks at 4.71 GHz (the fundamental resonance), 13.39 GHz (the third-order behavior), and 19.91 GHz (the fifth-order behavior) with correspondent absorptions of 90%, 100%, and 99.33%, respectively.

Since the first observation of the fascinating absorption property, metamaterials have been become a scientific spotlight. A distinctive interest has been given to metamaterial absorber (MA) with a broad operating band, which are more useful for future applications. In this report, we studied numerically and experimentally the electromagnetic properties of perfect MAs using ring-shaped structures at microwave frequencies. By creating a magnetic resonance, the ring structure confines electromagnetic energy at the first- and third-order resonances.

Misalignment is a problematic challenge in RF MEMS resonators. It causes asymmetry in the ultra symmetric radial contour mode disk resonators and degrades their performance by increasing the insertion loss and decreasing their quality factors (Q). Self-alignment method seems to be a good solution for misalignment problem, but it cannot be directly applied on high performance ring shape anchored resonators. This paper discusses misalignment effects for the ring shape anchored resonators and proposes a method for reconfiguring its anchor to be compatible with self-alignment process.

In this paper, we only focused on consider phenomenon of spontaneous symmetry breaking in the case of space dependent coupling. The results show that in the case of a coupling between the two rings is a function of single-Gaussian symmetry breaking only between rings. In contrast, in the case of a coupling between them as a double-Gaussian function, the symmetry breaking occurs only in each ring, breaking the symmetry of the space dependent coupling.

Đồng thời, một cấu anten PIFA tái cấu hình theo tần số sử dụng chuyển mạch PIN diode nhằm tạo ra hai cấu hình có tần số khác nhau, 1,9 GHz và 2,1 GHz. Để giảm nhỏ kích thước của anten PIFA tái cấu hình theo tần số, cấu trúc CSRR được đề xuất ở trên được tích hợp vào mặt phẳng bức xạ của anten.

In this paper, I will deal with dual-band electrically small antenna (ESA). The miniaturized radiation structure consists of a small ring and concentric split-ring resonator. The resonant response of the proposed radiation structure is characterized by the coupling among two split-ring resonators and the small ring. This interaction provides an additional capacitance to further reduce the total dimension of the resonant electrical length.
