Effect of dopant on structural and electrical properties of samarium-doped ceria (SDC) electrolyte was investigated using statistical moment method. The moment method in the statistical dynamics is used to study the thermodynamic properties of metals taking into account the anharmonicity effects of the lattice vibrations. The effective pair potentials work well for the calculations of metals. For obtaining better agreement of the thermodynamic quantities of metals like Nb, the many body potentials derived from the microscopic electronic theory are used. The theoretical calculations of the thermodynamic properties are in good agreement with the corresponding experimental results.

In present paper "Equation of state and thermal expansion of metals with FCC structure: Application to Cu, Al and Ni", by the statistical moment method (SMM) we obtain the equation of state for metals with cubic structure at temperature 0 K and pressure P and from that obtain the expressions of lattice parameter and thermal expansion coefficient for these metals at temperature T and pressure P.

From the study of the SU(2) gauge field coupled with two massless scalar fields, we have found solutions to the corresponding YangMills equations. These classical solutions exhibited a form of confinement to an SU(2) gauge charge. Energy expressions of the corresponding gauge and scalar field configurations are obtained.
