Supplementary resource materials

In the work of English education, resources for teaching and learning play an important role and they have crucial impacts on learners’ progress. This article focuses on demonstrating the rationale for building the supplementary materials for the course of English 2 for non-English major students at Thuyloi University.

Supplementary resource materials are additional but more useful in English language teaching (ELT). The teacher needs to supplement materials to promote motivation, which is one of the key factors influencing learning. However, there is a lack of study what supporting materials the teachers are using in English language classrooms for teaching learning purposes. This paper attempts to explore the supplementary teaching materials selected and used in ELT classrooms of community schools in Nepal. The information was collected through observations, interviews and focus group discussion.

Recently, the use of oral fluids such as GCF, whole saliva and oral rinse as a means of evaluating host-derived products, as well as exogenous components (for instance: oral microorganisms and microbial products), has been suggested as potential sources and diagnostic markers, respectively for disease susceptibility (Sahingur and Cohen 2004; Buduneli and Kinane 2011).
