This study focuses on applying SMART model to simulate export performance, in particular trade effects, of Vietnamese fishery products to the Netherlands after the EVFTA takes effect and all tariff barriers are eliminated. Based on the analysis, the paper identifies opportunities and challenges for Vietnam’s fisheries industry and proposes solutions to promote the exportation of fishery products to the Netherlands.

In order to adapt with those changes, people have actively seeked and opted for different measures which are applicable for their socioeconomic condition. Using descriptive statistics to analyze both primary and secondary data of two study areas, this paper discuss some solutions the communities have used to adapt to climate change. Then the authors propose some recommendations to assist the people in selecting solutions for climate change adaptation.

It is estimated that approximately one-third of the world’s population are using groundwater for drinking purposes. Pollution of ground water due to industrial effluents is a major issue (Vasanthavigar et al., 2011). Poor groundwater quality brings negative impact to human health and plant growth. In developing countries like India, it is estimated that around 80% of all diseases are directly related to poor drinking water quality and unhygienic conditions (Olajire & Imeokparia, 2001; Vasanthavigar et al., 2011).
